Theme/TopIc: The quick-thinking mouse comes face to face with an owl, a snake and a hungry Gruffalo . . .

What You’ll Love About This Book : The Gruffalo certainly lives up to its reputation as a classic read for both children and parents. The short rhymes and their repetitive structure make THE GRUFFALO a fun book to read aloud. The text are fantastic illustrations by Axel Scheffler bringing the story to life. The illustrator uses vibrant colors to create the mouse (and Gruffalo’s!) forest world.Julia Donaldson’s unique style allows the reader to bring the story to life for their little ones. This is a book that grows with your child – the rhythmical style of reading captivates very young readers and as they develop, and so too their verbal skills, it allows the child to get into character themselves – even reciting verses.A worthy addition to the little one’s library!
